New Member Announcement

Hamilton, Burgess, Young & Pollard is pleased to announce new members Christopher B. Frost, Steven R. Broadwater Jr, and Jed R. Nolan.

Frost and Broadwater have been working in the firm's Fayetteville office, while Nolan has led the firm's Princeton office since its inception. The new members will continue the firm's mission of providing quality legal representation enforcing the rights of West Virginia consumers.

Frost, is a native of Fayette County, West Virginia, and graduate of Oak Hill High School in 1990 and of Wittenberg University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at Wittenberg he was active in student government and other student groups, including Union Board and the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Before attending law school, Frost spent several years in Washington DC working for Senator Jay Rockefeller. In 2002, Frost earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University College of Law. Frost is a trial lawyer and practices in a variety of fields, including consumer law, personal injury, and social security.

Broadwater Jr, is a native of Charleston, West Virginia, and graduate of George Washington High School in 2003 and of Bethany College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and continued his education at the West Virginia University College of Law. While in law school, he was elected by his peers as the Fundraising Chairperson for his class in his first and second year. In his third year, he participated in the college's trial advocacy team, the clinical law program, and was elected as the Social Chairperson for the College of Law. Broadwater graduated and was admitted to the West Virginia Bar in 2010. As an attorney, his practice focuses on helping protect consumers from debt collectors.

Nolan, is a native of Mercer County, West Virginia, and graduate from Pike View High School in 2001 and Marshall University with a degree in History in 2005, and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2008. After working several years for Legal Aid of West Virginia, Nolan joined the firm of Hamilton Burgess where he focuses on consumer protection and bankruptcy law.

Kevin B. Burgess, Lynn B. Pollard and Ralph C. Young add the new members to the firm's arsenal of attorneys protecting the rights of West Virginians, echoing the motto, "You're David. They're Goliath. We're The Slingshot."
